EXPLORER must have 16K FIFO Installed for WeatherTrac WIN32

Your WEFAX EXPLORER must be configured with the 16K FIFO option in order to run the WeatherTrac WIN32 software. If you try to run the WeatherTrac WIN32 software with an EXPLORER with a 1K FIFO installed, the resulting image is broken up and incomplete.

Look for a 28-PIN socketed package at U20, to the lower right of the large square processor socket. The chip at that position should be marked "7206", not "7202". If your part says "7202" and U20 is socketed, the 16K FIFO part can be obtained to replace the existing 1K FIFO.

If U20 is socketed, you can obtain the 16K FIFO from us for cost plus shipping. When you purchase a software license, the cost of this upgrade will be credited to your purchase price.

If U20 is not socketed, the board must be returned for upgrade.
