October 15, 1998 -- Allentown, PA. WeatherTrac Industries announced today the latest release of WeatherTrac-WIN32, a software ensemble for Quorum Communications PRO, EXPLORER (16K FIFO), WORLDPORT, and APT/WEFAX-II hardware. With this release, in addition to the bundled configurations and complete systems sold previously, WeatherTrac WIN32 software is now available to customers who have purchased their Quorum based hardware either directly from Quorum or through third-parties. This makes available control, analysis, and animation software for support of Quorum hardware under Windows-95/98/NT. This is a commercial release of a version for the Windows NT 4.0 based IMOSS systems currently deployed by the US Navy.
The latest release includes such features as automatic Mercator or Polar Stereographic reprojection, feature tracking, automated pre-processing, NMEA0183 parsing for automatic position and system time update, Gamma corrections, JPG export, full print preview and Windows printer support, and much more, in addition to the simultaneous multi-channel processing capability that has always distinguished WeatherTrac from our competitors.
The software is available for Windows 95/98/NT. The software can be purchased with all options, or in any of several reduced option configurations. A special LITE version license is also available, which supports single channel control only, and does not support some of the more advanced features, such as reprojection. ALL options are field upgradeable with only a phone call, FAX, or e-mail. The software, along with DEMO imagery, is available for download FREE for the purposes of a thirty day trial evaluation with ALL OPTIONS enabled.
